1.Immortal life is something to be earned, By slow, self-conquest, comradeship with pain, And patient seeking after higher truths. We cannot follow our own wayward wills And feed our baser appetites and give Loose reins to foolish tempers, year on year, And then cry, 'Lord, forgive me, I believe --' And straightway bathe in glory. Men must learn God's system is too great a thing for that; The spark divine dwells in each soul, and we Can fan it to a steady flame of light, Whose lustre guilds the pathway of the tomb And shines on through eternity, or else Neglect it till it simmers down to death And leaves us but the darkness of the grave. Each conquered passion feeds the living flame; Each well-borne sorrow is a step toward God. Faith cannot rescue, and no blood redeem The soul that will not reason and resolve. Lean on thyself, yet prop thyself with prayer, For these are spirits, messengers of light, Who come at call and fortify thy strength, Make friends with thee and with thine inner self, Cast out all envy, bitterness, and hate. And keep the mind's fair tabernacle pure; Shake hands with Pain, give greeting unto Grief, Those angels in disguise and thy glad soul, From light to light from star to shining star, Shall climb and claim blest immortality."

2.How many of us live with true integrity every day? Do your work to the fullest, never cheat in any way. Stay to the path you made up your mind to tread, Falling away from truth never entering your head. However hard way, if you have integrity in you, You'll strive and never give in until you are through You'll be honored and trusted by all those you meet, Your word will be your bond, always fit to greet. Will never give into temptation however strong, Never on purpose would you ever do anything wrong, No bribe would ever be large enough to lead you astray, For integrity would always show you the right way. Give me the strength to have integrity through my life, That however hard the struggle, however much strife I will stand strong and true, until my earthly life is through, That I will be honorable and honest in all the things I do.

--I will be responsible for all my actions.
--I will do what is right even when no one is looking.
--I will not steal or take things which are not mine.

Poem;
1.We are fighting for justice for all, And our young men are answering the call. They are giving their lives for you and for me, On land, in the air, and out on the sea. They are brave and strong, and have faith in God. And are fighting for the land their forefathers trod. If they can fight for justice. Let's not let our efforts cease. Let us back home, toil-from light to dark So our boys, can hit their mark, This justice, although it is old, Is a tale that years and centuries unfold. Our country was founded upon this claim, And it's our privilege to keep it the same. This was and conflict, I know will soon end. For justice; to God are akin.
2.That Justice is a blind goddess Is a thing to which we black are wise: Her bandage hides two festering sores That once perhaps were eyes.
--I will have the moral courage to speak up when I see something wrong.
--I will be impartial even at times when the odds are against me.

Love Poem...

Regardless of our physical body
Our mind is still as one
We seek to bond with one another
Together we are one
This is true when we are together
When separated, we are none

Our love is strong
Yet falters weak
When we lose our bond
It is not easy to find true love

But when you do you must cherish
For you may only walk this path once
Love your other whole heartedly
Never leave your other one

Our love cannot be spoken
It can only be shown
Pure talk is rot
To show is to know
Express our feelings
For our ticking is ticking down
Do it before it is too late
So you won't regret it later

-->I will love and cherish my family and myself.

-->I will be a faithful and trustworhy person.

-->I will show care and concern towards others.

I will be compassionate and sensitive to the feelings of others.

Friendship

Genesis 6-9

Noah's boat

People were born. They had children. They died. And all the time things were going from bad to worse in God's world. People fought one another . They hated and hurt each other. They did not care about God, or the way he wanted them to live. No one listened to him anymore- and God began to be sorry he had ever made human beings. Ther was only one thing to do.He must make a fresh start with new people. Sadly,he decided to destroy every living thing creature on earth. He decided to send a great flood.

But there was one good man who lived as God's friend. His name was Noah. God talked to Noah about the flood, and explained his plan. He wanted to save Noah and his famly.God told Noah to build a great boat. It must be big enough for Noah and his wife, their three sons,HAm,Shem and Japheth with their wives, and two of everykind of animal and bird. And there had to b room to store food to feed them all for a very long time. Noah listened carefully and did exactly as God said.

People came to watch him work on the boat-it was a long job.Every day when they asked him what he was doing, he told them what God had said about the flood. But they took no notice. They thought Noah was crazy. He must be. Fancy building a boat on dry land, miles from a river or sea! But Noah did not let them stop him. He got on with the work and at last the boat was finished.

Then the rain came.

That day Noah and his family and all the birds and animals went into the boat, as God had said. And God shut the door tight behind them.

The rain came down in torrents. Soon all the rivers overflowed and the water spread over the ground. It then lifted the boat and Noah and all his family were afloat.

The water rose and rose until everything was covered. No one, nothing survived. Noah and his family and the animals in the boat were the only ones left alive.

At last the rain stopped. Slowly, the water began to go down, until the boat came to rest among the mountains. Noah wanted to find out if the earth was dry enough for everyone to leave the boat. So he opened a window and let out a raven. When the raven did not come back, Noah let out a dove. But it was not yet dry enough for the dove, so she flew back, and Noah let her in again.

The next time the dove flew out she brought back a fresh green leaf from an olive tree. The Noah knew that the earth was nearly dry. The third time the dove flew out, she did not return. Soon Noah could see the dry land for himself.

Then God told Noah it was time for them all to leave the boat and make a fresh start in the clean, new world. Animals and people tumbled over one another in the rush to get out of the boat and stand on dry land again.Noah and his family thanked God for keeping them safe.

They built a heap of big stones and put wood on top to make an altar where they could roast meat as a special thank-you present to God. And, as the sun broke through, overhead, across the sky, arched a beautiful rainbow. For God had promised Noah that he would never send a flood to destroy the earth again. And the rainbow was a sign, for everyone to see, that he would keep his promise forever.

Truth poem
Say what you want
Mean what you say
Remember the darkest
Lights of that day

Be who you are
Do as you please
The truth is going to
Bring you to your knees

The truth is that
That we all need
The truth is the end
Of a mystery

The truth is out there
You will see
The truth is out there
For you and me

The truth is out there
The search is not in vain
The truth is out there
Out there in the rain

Say what you want
But you better believe
The truth is a goal
We all must achieve

-I will speak the truth though it may hurt.
-Iwill not cheat or copy.
-I will not tell tales.

--I will have the humility to admit my mistakes when I am wrong.

Freedom Poem

Freedom
Like the wind
Freedom
Like the wings of angel's
Freedom
Like a deer running through a green field
Freedom
Like a soaring bird
Freedom.

-I will value group interest over self-interest.
-I have the right to ask others to maintain our school values and image.
-I understand that while I have the freedom of speech, I will not use it to hurt others.
-- I will not destroy public property
